If you’re out house hunting in New Jersey and have heard of Bloomfield, NJ then you may know it’s regarded as a town with serious roots in tradition. Holsten’s Confectionary shop, (celebrating their 75th anniversary) located by the Brookdale section of town is a local favorite.  New visitors can appreciate vibrant diversity by way of cultural activities. Take your pick since the team at Bloomfield Center Alliance do such a fine job at hosting interesting events, so be sure to check their calendar.  This town love food and there’s no shortage of restaurants and its very own Bloomfield Restaurant Week!

Make your way to Downtown Bloomfield NJ and appreciate Al Fresco dining at night by the new development. One of my favorites is Anthony’s (for their cheesecake) but Chef Anthony serves up a Sunday brunch to be reckoned with! Creative and community is how some locals think of their township.

However, many call Bloomfield NJ a family friendly township due to many family friendly events like Fireworks and Harvest Fest.

If you need to commute to New York for work or just for fun, then downtown Bloomfield NJ boasts easy access into New York City boasting 2 train lines (Watsessing and Bloomfield) and its very on GoBus by Grove St/Bloomfield Ave that routes direct to Newark International Airport!  Bus inclined riders can hop on Decamp Bus Lines on the Center and Northern end of town.

Housing in town is lovely with cape cods, colonials, split levels and even a few custom designs. Take this New Downtown Bloomfield NJ listing, a beautiful classic colonial right by the developing Downtown Bloomfield, NJ area. Close to Aldi’s, Stop & Shop and Chipotle! There’s a long list of eateries, bars, pubs and more for when you want to unwind. Go ahead take a walk on Bloomfield Ave and discover what many local residents have grown fond of!
