Irish Soda Bread with Cranberries
Ingredients
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1⅔ cup milk
  • ½ teaspon butter (cold) cut
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 cup cranberries
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400F.
  2. Put the milk and vinegar in a bowl, stir and let sit for around 5 minutes
  3. Put flour, baking soda, salt and sugar in another large bowl and stir to combine. Add the milk and vinegar mixture and raisins. Mix until all flour and feel free to use your hands.
  4. Put the dough ball on a baking sheet. Shape the dough into flattened ball shape. Tap down slightly on the top.
  5. Mark an X on the top (optional).
  6. Place in oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
